The effect of “SYRY-88” on Ureaplasma urealyticum
ABSTRACT: SYRY-88 is a complex herb medicine developed by Dr. Zhao
Qian, a chief physician in china. The special composition of
SYRY-88 makes it possible to treat effectively the majority of
SexuallyTransmitted disease (ST disease). The results of the
experimentsof pharmacological effect on Ureaplasma urealyticum (Uu.)
infectingthe urinary system and reproductive system indicated that
this medicine can effectively inhibit Uu at the dilution 1:16~1:32
of 20% solution. The tests were repeated three times, and the same
results were shown.
一、The
experimental aim: The inhibitory effect of SYRY-88 on Uu infecting
the human urinary and reproductive system were observed in vitro
tests, and it made SYRY-88 to have enough evidence for clinical
use.
二、The
experimental materials:
1. SYRY-88 is
the powder of complex herb medicines (Lot No. 9201101,
9301115,940111, 94048) supported by Dr, Zhao Qian, a chief
physician.
2. The
Mycoplasma Strain: Ureaplasma urealyticum type-4 (Uu Type-4),
International standard strain, was supported ty the Institute of
Capital Pediatrics, Beijing.
3. The medium
for mycoplsma: The special culture medium for Uu Type-4 was
supported by The Supervisory Institute of Veterinary Medicines, in
China.
4. The
reagents: yeast extract, urea, phenolsulfonphthalein, horse serum,
agrose, standard antiserum against Uu.
5. The
equipments of the laboratory: an incubator (37℃,
5%CO2), a light microscope, a fluorescence microscope,
ELISA assay equipment.
三、The
experimental methods:
1. The
preparation of the component solution of
“SYRY-88”: The powders of SYRY-88 (Lot No, 921101,
9301115, 940111, 940408) were extracted by soaking in distilled
water, then centrifuged and filtered, the solution was aliquoted
and stored at-20℃.
2.
Identification of Uu Type-4 and titre assay: Uu Type-4 and titre
assay: Uu Type-4 was selected from Uu population, then passage in
the culture medium and then the titre was detected.
3. The
experimental group:
(1)
“SYRY-88” group: The 20% solution of
SYRY-88 was diluted with the culture mdium into
1:2,1:4,1:8,1:16 ,1:32 ,1:64, 1:128. Each ilution was setted 4
tubes (4ml/each tube).
(2)
control group: The sterilized distilled
water was
diluted with the culture medum into 1:2~1:128.
Each dilution was
also setted 4 tubes (4c1/each tube).
(3)
The group for
the titre assay of Uu Type-4 strain: Uu type-4 was diluted with
the culture medium into 10-1~10-7, and
the titre of Uu Type-4 was determined,
1000 CCU
was as the inoculation amount according to the results .
(3)
Inoculation ot Uu Type-4 : Uu type-4 were inoculated into
the tube of each dilution for “SYRY-88” group and control
group individually (1000 CCU/each tube at beginig time).
All tube were
incudated at 37℃
for severa/ days, and
the colour ofculture medium in each tube was
observed day by day .
四、
The exper imental results: The tests were repeated for threetimes
as describ\ed in the methods , and the results were significant
and stable The minimal effective concentration of20% SYRY-88
solution for inhibiting Uu Type-4 is
1: 16 ~1:
32 dilution.
There was no significant differencd between theminimal
effective concenttation of four lot No. of
SYRY-88 (1:16 tor Lot
No . 9201101 or Lot No.
940111).
